Individual Counseling

Everyone faces hurt and pain- challenges that keep us from living our best lives. Trauma, grief, shame, anxiety and depression, and mental illness can wreak havoc with our ability to function well and to be kind to ourselves. All of this is woven into our unique story, the story that we alone have experienced and that we alone can tell truthfully. We come alongside our clients and welcome each person to tell their own story in a confidential and accepting atmosphere. We are here to listen and to help you make sense of your experiences.

Couples Counseling & Family Counseling

Relationships are what shape us. These start in the family and continue as we develop significant relationships as we grow. In all of our counseling, we focus on emotional connections and patterns that may have developed in our original family unit and are currently developing in our relationships and marriages. We focus on practical tools, emotional awareness, and the creation of deeper, more meaningful connections. Every relationship is an opportunity to grow and change. We will walk with families and couples as they experience growing pains, conflict, and transitions in their journey toward restoration and wholeness.

Addiction

We are a society that is all too familiar with numbing and escape from pain. Numbing and escaping are natural reactions to protect ourselves and find comfort. When this natural tendency becomes a compulsion and stands in the way of our living wholeheartedly, we call that addiction. Through compassionate listening and a focus on practical sobriety, we join our clients in their struggles. Whether we encounter a substance abuse issue or a sexual/intimacy issue, we are committed to helping our clients develop sobriety and a better lifestyle.
